Critical Infrastructure
The Arkeo Network will be a Cosmos SDK-based project designed to offer decentralized data hosting as a service. It was incubated by the ShapeShift DAO as a means to fully decentralize our interface, and extend the same opportunity to other projects. Details about Arkeo can be found on our governance forum; the project is operating autonomously from the DAO and anticipates testnet in Q2 of this year.
Arkeo will offer an entirely new level of decentralization for any project or Cosmos Zone focused on censorship resistance. As a Cosmos-native project, Arkeo is in a unique position to offer services to the ecosystem, and will rely on the Unchained backend for node level data storage. ShapeShift DAO is prepared to offer full Unchained integration as a part of any partnership with Cosmos Zones, which will lay the groundwork for Arkeo validators to adopt their data on the network upon launch.
