Cosmos Upgrade Hub was born from a simple but powerful need: to help Cosmos stay coordinated. As new chains and upgrades accelerated, stakeholders struggled to keep pace. We stepped in with a tool that automatically monitors upgrade plans across the ecosystem, integrates with the chain-registry for accuracy, and empowers validators and developers to plan upgrades with confidence.

We are seeking $20,000 in funding to expand Cosmos Upgrade Hub into a critical public good for the Cosmos community.
Allocation:
- 🔔 All funds will go toward improving the Cosmos Upgrade Hub API, which will remain completely free for anyone to use, integrate, or build upon.
- 🖥️ The Cosmos Upgrade Hub web application will also offer a free tier, providing open access to upgrade tracking dashboards and real-time chain upgrade status.
- 💎 In the future, optional premium subscriptions will unlock advanced features, including:
- Custom Webhook Alerts (Telegram, Slack, Discord, SMS, Email)
- Subscription Management (personalized dashboards, multi-chain tracking)
- Emergency and Socially-Coordinated Upgrade Tracking: Beyond standard governance upgrade plans, Cosmos Upgrade Hub will allow protocol teams or trusted representatives to post emergency upgrade events — such as urgent patches for halted chains, or immediate security upgrades — and present them seamlessly alongside standard upgrades in the dashboard.
Important: Funding from this grant will be exclusively used to improve the free API and free dashboard features. Premium UI subscriptions (for extended functionality) will be developed separately and self-funded.
