The development of an advanced indexer tool is crucial for enhancing the developer experience and attracting new users to the Cosmos ecosystem. To support this need, AADAO has granted $70,100 to Defiant Labs for the creation of the go-to Cosmos Indexer, an open-source tool supporting custom DB models for specific applications.
Despite the existence of a community-funded index solution, many use cases were still not covered. Defiant’s solution will address this gap, making it easier for developers to work with Cosmos data and build innovative applications. Furthermore, the tool will enable the creation of new products and significantly speed up application development times by allowing complex queries to be written with ease without needing to understand the relational model between Cosmos SDK data.
Defiant Labs has a strong track record in building and using indexing solutions in Cosmos; therefore ensuring a thorough milestone track to ensure the perfect solution for our ecosystem. Alongside the development of the indexer, the team will also create a website to showcase the capabilities of its technology, featuring real-time tracking of proposal votes, detailed analysis of voting data, and displays for voter voting power.
