The project is to implement an end to end solution for Monitoring, Reporting and Verification of carbon removal projects, along with the conversion of an existing Registry from Solidity on Avalanche. COSMOS based private AppChains will be used to acquire, secure and store process sensor data and package this data into an immutable representation of the data that represents one carbon credit. This representation of the data will be sent to a new Registry running on a COSMOS public AppChain, which will convert the data representation into a Carbon Removal Credit or Carbon Avoidance Credit. These credits will then be transferred to carbon exchanges for sale and/or retirement.
