“A centrifuge is a machine used to train cosmonauts”
Centrifuge is an open-source interchain quest/task-hosting platform that users can connect via crypto wallets (Keplr, Cosmostation, Leap or Wallet Connect). This platform aims to bring together Cosmos Ecosystem projects and cosmonauts. Projects can create quests and tasks on the platform, and cosmonauts can complete these quests and tasks. Cosmonauts gain experience by completing quests and tasks.Through gamification and earning experience by completing quests, cosmonauts are placed on the leaderboard, based on the gained experience: the most experience at the top of the leaderboard. Projects distribute rewards among cosmonauts: the higher the cosmonaut’s ranking (the more experience a cosmonaut has relative to other cosmonauts), the bigger the rewards from the project.Centrifuge is a web3-alternative to projects like Zealy, where creating quests and tasks are transactions in the Cosmos Hub, for which projects need pay fees in ATOM.
