This grant to Alex Cosmonaut will create a meme competition around the Cosmos Hub and the AEZ.
Through this grant, the competition will have three rounds, running in October, November and December 2024. Participants will be asked to create and post memes on Twitter, which the grant recipients will then judge to select 3 winners. These three winners from each round will win $ATOM1kLFG tokens (from a total prize pool of $2,500 USD worth of tokens, funded by this grant).
The team will also select the best memes from each round and inscribe them onto the Cosmos Hub via the Asteroid Protocol. Holders of these inscriptions may get a promotional offer from select Cosmos Hub validators, offering discounted commission fees on stake ATOM (tbc, limits may apply).
The mint fee from the inscriptions will be rolled into the prize pool for the next round of the meme competition.
