Following the success of its initial developer activation efforts in 2023, Brasa Labs launched the Cosmos Builders Program in 2024, supported by a second grant from Atom Accelerator DAO (AADAO). The goal: further accelerate Cosmos Hub adoption in Brazil by scaling developer education, startup support, and interchain innovation across three key regions.
After two months of hands-on training, mentorship, and building, the program has wrapped, with dozens of developers onboarded and a range of projects developed. Six projects were finalized and judged by a panel of respected voices from across the Cosmos ecosystem. Below, we dive into the program highlights, top projects, and what this means for Cosmos Hub in Brazil.
A Builders Program Designed for Impact
Over the course of eight weeks, the Cosmos Builders Program brought together emerging developers, mentors, and local partners to explore the interchain stack through workshops, technical guidance, and startup incubation.
Many projects were initiated during the program. After rounds of iteration, mentorship, and validation, six were completed and presented as fully realized MVPs on the DoraHacks platform. Each project focused on regional relevance, long-term viability, and meaningful use of Cosmos SDK, CosmWasm, and IBC, culminating in a final demo showcase to the community.
These projects then went through a thorough judging process by key voices in the Cosmos Ecosystem, including Nicco Poggi (Interchain Labs), Secret Saturn (validator), Joni (AADAO), Daiana (SunDAO Ventures), Popeblack (Cosmos Hub Africa), Gabriel (TPC Ventures), Syed (Range Security), and Seanrad (Secret Labs).
The Winning Projects
1st Place – HTTPayHTTPay is a decentralized protocol that powers a new kind of API marketplace, one designed for AI agents. Built on Neutron using CosmWasm smart contracts, HTTPay enables APIs to be discovered, consumed, and paid for autonomously, without human involvement.
This architecture unlocks a programmable, microtransaction-based economy where agents can access services around the clock and developers can monetize APIs without relying on manual billing systems.

Recapping Program Goals and Achievements
The Cosmos Builders Program was part of a $35,000 follow-up grant from AADAO focused on expanding developer engagement and real-world adoption of the Cosmos Hub. Key goals included:
- Training 50 – 100 developers in three Brazilian states on Cosmos SDK, CosmWasm, and interchain development
- Supporting 3 – 6 startups in building Cosmos-based MVPs
- Hosting nine educational workshops on the Interchain Stack and ATOM Economic Zone (AEZ)
- Developing an open-source library of technical tutorials and content in Portuguese
- Building partnerships with universities, Web3 hubs, and other regional institutions
Brasa Labs successfully delivered on each of these fronts, building lasting infrastructure for Cosmos adoption in Brazil, as well as clearly communicating each complete milestone with the AADAO team.
Looking Ahead
The completion of the Cosmos Builders Program marks a major milestone in Cosmos Hub’s expansion across Brazil… and it’s only the beginning. With a growing developer ecosystem, institutional partnerships, and a pipeline of startups entering the space, the region is poised to play a leading role in shaping the interchain future.
AADAO is proud to have supported Brasa Labs in this work and looks forward to the continued adoption of Cosmos Hub in Brazil. Congrats team on all the hard work!
